Soot Blowers

In an Industrial Boiler, soot/ ash/ slag accumulation on the surface of coils/ tubes results in reduction of heat transfer. Soot deposition can also erode and corrode metal surface. It is necessary to remove this accumulation daily in order to increase efficiency of Boiler and life of tubes/ coils.

Effective cleaning of soot is the most important aspect of any boiler performance. TRUST WELL SOOT BLOWERS uses Advance Design Spray Nozzles for effective cleaning using Steam jet energy. Trust Well offers complete range of Soot Blower to suit various requirements of the Boiler for different temperature Zones.

Trust Well has tailor made solutions for cleaning Boiler Tubes/ Coils, which improves Boiler efficiency. Trust Well recently got enlistment from renowned engineering company 'Engineers India Ltd' for manufacturing and supply of Soot Blowers.

All Soot Blowers can be connected to PLC based Sequential Control Panel as per requirement of indoor/ outdoor conditions.




Operation



LONG RETRACTABLE SOOT BLOWERS (LRSB)

Function of long retractable soot blower (LRSB) is to remove soot deposited on coils/ tubes in High temperature zone (e.g.Superheater Coils)
Trust Well also has his its own IBR certifed Poppet value manufacturing and is provided on LRSB.

  • The lance tube with four/ two high-peformance nozzles is helically passed over the flue gas path.
  • The blowing process begins as soon as the nozzles have passed through the boiler/ heater wall.
  • Required superheated/ saturated steam with desired pressure cleans entire area in high temp zone.
  • The lance element travels the desired length with steam blowing and again retracts back in anticlockwise direction of rotation with steam blowing.
  • Travel length is controlled by 2 nos. heavy duty limit switches.

MOTORISED ROTARY SOOT BLOWER (MRSB)

Trust Well Rotary Motorised Soot Blower is designed to remove Soot/ Ash/ Slag deposited on Tubes in Economizer as well as Boiler Tubes in low Temperature Zone (below 550 ℃C).
The lance Element remains inside Boiler/ Economizer for all the time.
Selection of Lance element is done according to flue gas Temperatures.

WALL DESLAGGER (SHORT RETRACTABLE SOOT BLOWER) (SRSB)

  • Trust Well Wall Deslaggers designed to remove Soot/ Ash/ Slag deposited on Furnace Wall/ Side Wall Tubes. The lance Element retracts and cleans Soot deposited on side wall/ furnace tubes.
  • The Wall Deslagger is mounted directly on the wall box. No external support is required. Trust Well Wall Deslagger construction is robust design to have very low maintenance. Tested and proven over years of experience.
  • In the event of power failure the Wall Deslagger can be operated manually using the crank handle supplied.
  • Required care is taken in Design of Wall Deslagger to ensure Highest Level of Personal safety.
